Guddi narrates the tale of the protagonist Guddi who dreams of being a police officer. She is from a humble background. Her father works as the house caretaker of an IPS officer, Avijoy. Avijoy’s wife is a teacher, and she happens to be Guddi’s mentor. Guddi admires Avi as he models her idol of being a respected police officer. Due to circumstances, Avijoy’s wife dies, and in search of support from his broken heart, Avijoy finds love with Guddi.
The story follows the couple through their new life, faced with the conflict between Guddi’s determination to achieve her dreams of being a cop and her promise of companionship towards Avijoy.
