In today's era, lots of shows are coming up every day. Some come up with a social message and some come with family entertainment. Every show tries to impress the audience with their unique storyline, twists, drama and sometimes controversies also works for their popularity. Some shows are extending their story like a rubber band and are becoming a headache for most of the audience. Let's have a look at some of the shows of 2016 which have become flop show.

1. P.O.W – Bandhi Yudh Ke

Its promos were very appealing and gave a military feel to the audience. The makers follow the same story of Hatufilm. It mainly focusses on the extraordinary escape of two prisoners of Kargil war; Imaan Khan and Sartaj Singh and their return to the families. It highlights that the real prisoners were the family members who remain the prisoners for many years by the emotions of faith, ambiguity and yearning. Despite showing engaging drama and intriguing realistic situations, this show is struggling for audience and TRP ratings.

2. 24 Season-2

The first season of the Indian adaption of American TV Series 24 was outstanding and garnered huge TRP ratings and overwhelming response from the audience. 3. Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulahaniya

Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhaniya was a comedy series which was based on the search for an ideal wife for Abhishek, a responsible man of his family which ends up in falling in love with Meera, who belonged to an ambitious family but is wholly different from them. This show which marked the comeback of many forgotten TV stars, got a good response on online platforms but failed to attract huge eyeballs and came in the category of flop shows and went off air within 6 months of its launch.

4. Amma

The show was based on the lady don of Mumbai(formerly Bombay), Jenabai Daruwali. The show depicts the journey of a single mother of two daughters, Zeenat Sheikh from being abandoned by her husband to becoming the bold and brave underworld don of Akhaa Mumbai. This show revolves around Paridhi (Mona Singh) who got possessed by an evil spirit who wants to take away her husband Rajbeer (Vivek Dahiya) away from her. After knowing the evil plans of the Spirit whom Paridhi can only see, she tries hard to protect her family and husband from her by becoming their Kavach against that black spirit. This show received high TRP ratings in its first week but soon dip in TRPs was seen and to raise them many efforts were done like introducing Naagin's fame Arjun Bijlani as a genie and Paridhi's helper but all went futile and the show had to turn down earlier than its scheduled ending.

6. Dr. Bhanumati On Duty (Renamed As Dr. Madhumati On Duty)

This serial marked Kavita Kaushik's come back to Television after her super hit serial F.I.R. This serial was based on a military doctor; Dr Bhanumati who used to treat her patients in an entirely different way. But things didn't go well with Kavita and she quit the show and then the show was renamed as Dr Madhumati On Duty and the role of Dr Madhumati was played by Debina Bonnarjee and this lead to the transformation of the whole storyline of the serial. All this non-consistent behaviour led to the downfall in a number of audiences and therefore made this show unsuccessful.

10. Nagarjun- Ek Yoddha

The concept of Naag-Naagins which was firstly shown by Sridevi's starer Naagin and reinvented by Sasural Simar Ka and Ekta's TRP ruler Naagin. Naagarjun brought whole snake kingdom to the TV. It revolved around the mythological tale of snake kingdom related to Mahabharata. But unlike serial Naagin, it failed to rule the TRP charts.
