Well, firstly what is a controversy? Often, when someone says something that triggers the ire of the public, it becomes a controversy. Well, Bollywood stars have also been entangled in controversies, and some even dig a pit for themselves by losing the sympathy of even their ardent fans. But the stars may defend themselves by saying that they live their lives set by their own standards, and not bother with doing publicity gimmicks. In this regard, I tend to think that it is all good if one expresses his/her opinions, provided they are veritable. Also, the statements that they make should not be self-contradictory. And my dear celebs, this is what that irks the fans more. Also, when you say something you should not just take a U-turn and say that you never said that at all. But there is also the chance of misconstruing and the truth may not be known at all sometimes.
