A 2015 animated movie that is well researched upon the topics that it’s based on – human emotions. The story is based on the life of a young girl and the emotions that develop as she grows up after experiencing several life-changing situations that are often considered small. The film displays the roles and importance of five core emotions – Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust – that are personified in the movie as they handle every action and reaction of the little girl.

Funnily enough, this movie was made on the basis of the idea of escaping life when it becomes too rough and of enjoying those little fantasies we have. This movie has the cutest couple, Carl, and Ellie, showing their love story from high school until they’re married. Sadly, after a series of mishaps, Ellie gets sick and dies, but it doesn’t stop Carl from fulfilling the promise he made to his first and last love, and he has the most adventurous way to do it.

This movie is set in a mythical remote Viking village where, to be accepted, you have to kill at least one dragon. The story is based on a boy who, being the son of an immensely strong Viking chief, strives to prove that he deserves being a Viking too. The movie takes a big turn when, after finally catching a dragon, he decides to befriend it instead of killing it.

5. WALL-E

WALL-E is based on the robotic character of the same name which, along with several same units, is sent on the earth to clean the unimaginable amount of garbage left behind by humans after several centuries of mass consumerism. Due to some issues, all other units fail to work except one. The robot is shown to have human-like emotions and movements and is determined to perform his task until EVE, another robot with another programming, meets him. They both fall in love and help each other survive through futuristic adventures.

6. Monsters, Inc.

A parallel city called Monstropolis, inhabiting various kinds of monsters, must keep the power going by scaring children but never go near them as they are even more scared of being contaminated by the children. The top “scarers” of the city, James Sulley Sullivan and his one-eyed friend Mike, find a little girl in their city and make several attempts to return her. Sulley is named ‘Boo’ by her, and both of them soon grow attached to her, making the return more difficult. The situation is worsened by their chameleon-like monster enemy Randall.

This story is set in a world where toys have life but pretends to be lifeless in front of their owners. Woody is the head of the selection of toys owned by a boy named Andy until an action figure, Buzz, becomes Andy’s new favorite toy. Woody faces the struggle that comes with the change and tries to win back his position, but everything isn’t as simple as it looks.

This story is set in the medieval Scotland, where a young princess sets her mind to defy the age-old customs where she is supposed to follow strict mannerisms and protocols when all she wants to do is venture into the forests with her bow and arrow. To fulfill her wish, she takes the help of a witch and a mischance leads to her mother becoming a bear. The young princess must do everything that it takes to get back her mother before the changes become permanent. If she will get her ways or not is another query that needs to be satisfied in this movie.

9. Despicable Me

After having his ego hurt by another villain’s stealing act, supervillain Gru makes a plan that leads him to adopt three little girls from an orphanage. His plan is to shrink the moon by using his shrink ray which gets stolen by the other villain. The quest becomes real, and Gru uses the little girls to get it back. During the crazy adventures, a large credit must be given to the minions who never fail to amuse us. As Gru falls deeper in love with the girls and minions, the struggle to be the greatest villain becomes even more complicated.

10. One Hundred And One Dalmatians

This movie is made from the eyes of Dalmatians in which the main ones, Pongo, and Perdita, get their human owners to meet who later get married. Perdita gives birth to fifteen puppies who come in the eyes of Cruella, the evil woman. After being told they are not for sale, she appoints some men to kidnap them. The parents of the puppies set out on a hunt to find their babies and are faced with many difficulties that are interesting to watch.
