Subhashree Ganguly is a model and actress. She was born in Bardhaman, West Bengal. She has been the winner of Anandalok Nayikar Khonje 2006. She won Anandalok Awards for Best Debut in Bengali Cinema in 2008, Tele Cine Awards in 2008 for Best Actress, Bengali Youth & Cultural Awards in 2013, and many more. The film Rosogolla shows the birth and discovery of the famous sweet of Bengal, Rosogolla. Nobin Chandra Das is a young man. He has a sharp mind. He is romantic at heart. The film is about a sweet-maker. Nobin’s father dies. He faces financial problems. Now he has decided to start a sweet shop. He tries to make new sweets every day. He wants to present this to his wife, Khirodmoni. She also helps him in innovating sweets. They failed many times. But together, they worked. They faced humiliation from society. Finally, a unique sweet was discovered named Rosogolla. The story is based on the 19th century of Bengal.

2. Abhimaan

The film Abhimaan is about anger. Ashok Deb Burman is a business tycoon. He is an Italian-Bengali businessman. Madhuja is his estranged daughter. She married a man of the lower class. Her father did not approve of it. He disowned her. After twenty-five years, he wants to mend everything with his daughter. Aditya Deb Burman is his grand-son. He asks him to help him get her daughter. He leaves Italy and goes to Kolkata. He enters his aunt’s house as a driver. He finally reconciles his aunt with his grandfather.

The film Poran Jai Joliya Re is a romantic story. Anna lives in London with her parents. They are NRI. She is in love with an English man, Harry. Her father wants her to marry an Indian boy. Her brother Sid marries an English girl without their father’s approval. Ana, with her parents’ visits India during Durga Puja. There lives a boy named Raj. He falls in love with Anna. He puts sindoor during the Durga Dashami. Now Anna is angry. She plans to pretend to agree to marry him. But when they bring him to London. She breaks up. But at last, they end up marrying each other with love.

4. Khoka 420

In the film Khoka 420, Subhashree Ganguly played the role of Bhoomi. Krish or Krishna belongs to a wealthy family. Megha is his girlfriend. Bhoomi is her best friend. Bhoomi tells Megha that her marriage is fixed to a person, whom she does not want to marry. She tells this to her boyfriend. But later, during Holi, she comes to know that Babai Da is in love with somebody else. She is Sayantika. He is always engaged to her. They will be married soon. She is heartbroken.
