Varalakshmi

Varalakshmi is a multilingual actress who had played in all the South Indian languages and Hindi. She was born in Andhra Pradesh and brought up and settled in Chennai. Varalakshmi couldn’t continue her studies after the tenth standard due to a busy schedule.  She is married to a physician and has two kids. She started her career as a child artist and then made her debut as a heroine in Tamil with “Mohan.” She managed to grab the attention of the audience with her natural acting in supporting roles. Varalakshmi’s dad had also performed in a few Telugu films. Her sisters, “Rani” and Saraswathi, are also artists. Rani is popularly known as Alaigal Rani and she is one of the best TV actresses in Tamil doing various roles, including the negative roles. Rani had also grabbed the prestigious Nandi Award from the Andhra Pradesh government for her performance in a movie. Rani considers Varalakshmi as another mother and, at times, another father who cares for their family well.
