Duvvuru Ramireddy was a well-known Telugu poet. He was born on 9th November 1895 and died on 11th September 1947. He was born into a farming family in the Andhra Pradesh district of Nellore. He received several honours, including the title of Kavikokila from the Andhra Maha Parishad in Vijayawada in 1929. Also, he contributed dialogue and lyrics to Telugu movies. In Telugu, he also penned Hyderabad Paryatana. Duvvuru Ramireddy's literary career began in 1918 with his poem Vanakumari. Krishivaludu (The Land Tiller) followed in 1919. His well-known work, Paanasala, a translation of Omar Khayyám's Rubáiyát, was released in 1935.
Phalitakesamu, Nalajaramma, Swatantra Radham, and Agnipravesamu are among his other works. Duvvuru wrote dialogue for films such as Balaji in 1939, re-created in 1960 by Sri Venkateswara Mahatyam with dialogue by Aathreya. He also wrote the lyrics for the 1939 film Nala Doutyamu. He also composed an elegy when his wife died, expressing his grief. Duvvoori Ramireddy has worked as a lyricist and dialogue writer in Telugu cinema.
