Plot
Ramakrishna works under Appanna in Kothapalli village. Ramakrishna is in love with Savitri, a wealthy girl from the same village. In a turn of events, Ramakrishna’s life turns upside down. What happened? Was that a positive change? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Manoj and Usha made their debut with this film. They are cool in front of the camera and perform with ease. With the natural performances and neat dialogue delivery, both attract us. Monika didn’t have any significant role, despite being the lead actress. Ravindra Vijay performed well in his strong role. The rest of the stars have done what was required.
Analysis
The story showcases that we just see the world from our perspective, but not as it is. The basic theme is good, but the execution is weak. The screenplay oscillates now and then. So, the planned message is not delivered properly. The first half relies on comedy, and it works. But when a twist occurs, the film’s tone doesn’t change, but it is still maintained in the same tone, which weakens the plot. If the tonal changes had been made, the emotional elements would’ve created a significant impact. The second half misses the powerful Appanna. Some irrelevant scenes are forcedly inserted, and they spoil the plot. Monika’s Savitri should’ve been developed better. The BGM is better than the songs. The visuals are above average. The editing should’ve been crisper.
