Ankith Koyya is a young actor working in the film industry. He is mostly seen in Telugu movies. Ankith was born in Hyderabad in the state of Telangana and studied at GITAM private university in Vishakhapatnam. He got involved in theatre and acting during his college years. In 2016, he made his debut with a short film ‘Yedhane Vadili Vellipomakey’ 2016. This short film won him Best Supporting actor at the SIIMA awards in 2017. He got featured in several short films and advertisements. In one such advertisement, he was cast along with actor Allu Arjun, which accelerated his acting career. Ankith has worked in the lead role in the movies ‘Majill’ (2019) and ‘Aswathama’ (2020). He was also a part of movies like ‘Johaar’ (2020), ‘Ooriki Utharana’ (2021), ‘Shyaam Singha Roy’ (2021), and ‘Thimmarusu’ (2021). He also starred in the Hotstar web series ‘9 Hours’ in 2022.
