Sujeeth Reveals The Reason Behind Dropping The Project With Ram Charan

Sujeeth is currently hoping for the success of They Call Him OG. However, did you know that he had planned his comeback with a movie starring Ram Charan?

In a recent interview, the director opened up on his venture with Ram Charan that never took off. Sujeeth didn’t want to take a break after Saaho, and wanted to get immediately involved with Ram Charan on another project. However, the COVID-19 pandemic played the spoilsport, and the project sadly never took off.

Sujeeth had last directed the bilingual movie Saaho in 2019, which also marked the Hindi debut of Prabhas. The movie co-starred Shraddha Kapoor, Chunky Panday, Lal, Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay, Mahesh Manjrekar, Murali Sharma, Neil Nitin Mukesh, etc.

The movie barely managed to recover its costs, though it later gained appreciation for its unusual approach to action-based cinema. Interestingly, if They Call Him OG performs well in the opening weekend, it will merge with Saaho to form the Sujeeth Cinematic Universe.
