Srikanth Addala is a popular film director, who is associated with Telugu cinema. He was born in Relangi in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. Srikanth is a post-graduate in atmospheric physics. Srikanth started his career as an assistant director. He managed to grab the attention of popular Tollywood personalities due to his perfection in his work.

In 2004, he worked as an assistant director in “ Arya”, which was featured by Allu Arjun. Dil Raju produced Arya. After seeing Addala's dedication in his duty, Dil Raju asked him to come up with a good story. He had also asked Srikanth to work in “ Bommarillu”, the super hit film. As per the request of Dil Raju, he worked as an associate in Bommarillu. After the success of Bommarillu, Dil Raju’s relationship with Srikanth Addala continued through Kotha Bangaru Lokam. Yes, Srikanth visited Dil Raju with the story of Kotha Bangaru Lokam, which impressed the producer. Dil Raju gave him an excellent opportunity to direct the film, which was the turning point in Srikanth’s career. In 2008, he released the movie starring Varun Sandesh, Shweta Basu Prasad, Prakash Raj and “ Jayasudha”. It was a super hit movie and he established himself as a good director in his debut. This commercial hit film was nominated for various awards and managed to grabbed some even.

His second film happened again with Dil Raju in the year 2013. For his second film, Addala chose biggies like Daggubati Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu and Prakash Raj. This time, he switched on to the family entertainer, “ Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”. “ Anjali” and Samantha Ruth Prabhu played the female leads. Again, he got a super duper response from the audience and the critics. The film had a good reach in the overseas markets too. His third film was with Varun Tej, the young boy from the Mega family. “ Mukunda” is the debut movie of Varun Tej and this was also a super hit. Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh played prominent roles in the film.

His fourth film is “ Brahmotsavam”, which released on 20th May, 2016. He worked with Mahesh Babu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the second time in Brahmotsavam. It was an average movie in Srikanth’s career. Besides directing the film, Srikanth performed as the lyricist for two of his movies, Kotha Bangaru Lokam and Brahmotsavam.

Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao is a movie producer, director and writer of Telugu films. He has also acted in some Telugu films. He was born in Thathapudi, a small village in the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. Telugu is the state language of Andhra Pradesh, the city where he was born. He was the son of an ordinary farmer. He went to school in the following villages- Martur, Murikipudi and Thathapudi, his birthplace. As all of these were villages, they had no proper colleges in them. Thus, he went to Chilakaluripet city of Andhra Pradesh to get his college education. A career in the film industry must have inspired him when he was in college in Chilakaluripet city, because he then initialized working under a director. Soon, he started assisting T. Some of the pictures in which Rao assisted him were Repati Pourulu, ‘Devalayam’, and Vande Mataram. Repati Pourulu was released in 1986, and won the Filmfare Award, as well as the Nandi Award for Best Film. Vande Mataram won The Nandi Award (Bronze) for Best Film, and released just a year before Repati Pourulu. The movie includes Rajasekhar, Vijayashanti and Rajendra Prasad in the lead roles. Rao is well known for efficiently making sequels of many pictures. Some of his most famous movies are ‘Suryavamsam’, ‘Subhamastu’, ‘Suswagatam’, and ‘Subhakankshalu’. Living up to his image of a good remake person, Subhamastu was a remake of the movie, Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava. M. V. Lakshmi was its producer, and it released in 1995. It starred Jagapati Babu, Aamani, and Indraja. Suryavamsam was again a remake. They made it from a Tamil movie of the same name. R. B. Choudhary produced it, and it was released in 1998. It starred renowned actors like Venkatesh, Sanghavi, Meena, and Radhika. The much- loved movie, ‘Sooryavansham’, which had Amitabh Bachchan and Soundarya in it, had the same story as this very picture. He single-handedly produced, directed and wrote the story of film, Nee Thodu Kavali, a romantic Telugu motion picture. It starred Arjan Bajwa, Charmy, and Rimi Sen in it. He launched his name as an actor too, with Kudirithe Kappu Coffee. He played a small role in this movie, alongside Varun Sandesh and Suma Bhattacharya. He also acted in the picture, Friend’s Book, which was released a year after Kudirithe Kappu Coffee.

His second film, still yet to be names, is a science fiction and underlines that this budding Director is not to be stuck to a single genre. His flair for recognizing potential is also notable with the re-casting of lead pair of Dulquer Salmaan and NithyaMenen for enactingmodern day romance on silver screen. The on-screen chemistry between the actors and the off screen friendship of Jenuse and Dulquer is visible in the movie which depicted the affection arising between one-time school bullies in the backdrop of Bengaluru. The second venture is touted to be a science thriller with NithyaMenen, Parvathi and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead star cast and is set to be shot in the scenic locales of Himachal Pradesh. This Director definitely takes his actors to places! He has previously assisted notable ad directors like V.K. Prakash and film makers like Ashiq Abu, apart from his father, who has left in him as a consideration for future risk and script preference.
