The director and producer, V.B. Rajendra Prasad was born on 4th November 1932 in Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh. Being from a small town, he never thought he would one day become this famous. He always wanted to become an actor since he was a child and destiny took him to the same field but gave a different role. He then became a producer and a director. After ruling Bollywood, and Telugu and Tamil films, he died on January 12, 2015, in Hyderabad due to a serious respiratory ailment. He is survived by two children, Jagapathi Babu, who is a famous actor and Ram Prasad. He directed his debut film, ‘Dasara Bullodu’ starring the late Akkineni Nageswara Rao and even produced it. His directorial debut was so appreciated by the audience and the critics that it became the first golden jubilee Telugu film, running over fifty weeks. This achievement can only happen when one is extremely hardworking and talented, and so was V.B. Rajendra Prasad. He has always given priority to his work which gave him the success he has achieved.
