Born in Mathilakam of the Thrissur District in Kerala, the young film director knows the intricacies of his work. The master story weaver Kamaludin Mohamed (Kamal) is his father. Truly, the father-son duo create magic on Mollywood Cinema. His father's signature style of presenting everyday people on celluloid along with his charisma of taping the young generation, has made him the favorite amongst cinema-goers. He is an MBA degree holder and an alumnus of GRD College and London Film School. He entered the holy matrimony with his fashion designer girlfriend Zulfa.
The star studded reception was attended by the who's who of the cinema industry. He has a sister, Hannah Mohamed Majeed and his mother is Saburabi Mohamed. His father (Kamal) is presently the chairman of the State Film Academy (Kerala) and the recipient of various awards and accolades. His directorial debut was titled "100 Days of Love" which presented a comical satire on the expectations of the new generation.
