Geetha is involved in teaching Carnatic and devotional music to advanced learners of music through offline classes and on the internet. She is an accomplished musician. She has done her post-graduation in Music and English. She firmly believes in the propagation of rich musical heritage and engages herself fully in this task.

She got specialized training under K.S. Narayanaswami, and Padmashri Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan. She performed at MA recently selecting songs from GK Barathi with supporting artists Ms.Narmadha. She has not only presented her concerts in India but abroad also. Like she has given her performance in Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Russia, and the U.S.A.

She has explained Indian music through lecture demonstrations and conducted workshops in Europe and the U.S.A. She was invited to perform in well-known centers like "Voices of Women" festival in Belgium, the Nehru Centre in London, Radio France in Paris and the Indo Austrian Association in Vienna.

She got trained in music from Sangita Kala Acharya and later she was privileged to come under the tutelage of Sangita Kalanidhi T.Brinda from whom she learned a vast repertoire of classical compositions. She acts in the National Programme and Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan of AIR. She has presented concerts and interviews on private television channels.

She lent her voice to dance drama recordings. She has learned to play the veena from Sangita Kalanidhi K.S. Narayanaswami. She has established herself as a well-known concert vocalist in South Indian classical music for two decades. She has also written articles on music. She holds prestigious awards like Kalaimamani etc. She is the sister in law of the versatile Smt Aruna Sairam. She performs regularly on radio and television.

Vishaka Hari is a Carnatic music vocalist and proponent of Harikatha. She learned Carnatic music under the legendary Carnatic violinist, Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman. Vishaka is also a storyteller of Kathakalakshepam. She is also a Chartered accountant. Her husband, Sri Hariji, is an experienced Harikatha exponent who delivers discourses in Tamil, English, and Hindi. So she learned the art of Harikatha from her husband. She has performed in prestigious venues within India and overseas and has raised funds through her performances for several social causes. She occasionally performs with her husband, Sri Hari, who uses her English literary background to supplement her performances. Her brother, Saketharaman, is one of the leading Carnatic musicians in India. Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal (Sri Sri Anna) is her spiritual guru and father-in-law. She performs Harikatha on various topics Based on Srimad Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatam and Skanda Puranam. She also acts from Srisrianna's works such as Sri Vaishnava Samhitha, Sri Brindavana Mahatmyam, Divya Desa Vaibhavam, Harikatha Amritha Lahari, Sati Vijayam, Shatakams, and Keerthanas. She has performed in several events during the Chennai Music Season since 2006. She has received many prizes and award for her contributions to the Harikatha and Carnatic music fields. She was awarded Dr. M.S. Subbulakshmi Centenary Award at a ceremony in Mumbai Sri Shamukhananda Fine Arts and Sangeetha Sabha. She is one amongst seven of India’s most-respected women artists. She was awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi for the year 2012 for her notable talent. She also got the Vasantashreshtha, that is the 'woman par excellence' award, from the hands of her music guru Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman.
