Senthikumari is a renowned TV personality who later ventured into film acting as she became a household name through her small screen appearances. She predominantly works for Tamil TV series that premiered on a Tamil private channel.

Born in Chennai, the actress made her debut with TV serial’ Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’ which was a Tamil drama soap opera running on weekdays in STAR Vijay.

This was the only Tamil serial that solely based on adolescence and teenage life, and became a phenomenon. It topped the TRP for Tamil serials, in this serial, Senthilkumari played the role of a teacher. The title score was a composition by the music director Vijay Antony.

This popular TV series was directed by Prabhu Kanna and produced by Raghavesh Asthana. The serial was also aired on Star Vijay Super since January 16, 2017, at 8 pm.

After acting in a few TV series, she got offers for movies. She was seen playing character roles in Tamil films. In the year 2012, the actress played a prominent supporting role in ‘Marina' directed by Pandiraj. The movie starred Sivakarthikeyan, this feature was his film debut and Oviya in the lead roles.  It focused on the lives of street children at Chennai's Marina Beach. The film was inspired from Mira Nair's highly acclaimed movie 'Salaam Bombay'.

In the year 2014, Senthikumari acted in the movie 'Goli Soda' in which she appeared as Madhusudhan Rao aka Naidu's wife. Naidu was a big shot in the film who controlled the market. Vijay Milton was the director who also wrote the screenplay and story of the movie, he also handled the camera portion in the movie. The movie was a success both in the domestic market and even in the eyes of critics.

IN the year 2014, she appeared in the movie 'Gnana Kirukkan' produced, written and directed by Ilayadevan. It was a debut film of Jega, in this movie, Senthikumari played the role of Thangammal who is Jega’s mother. In this movie, she also plays the role of Daniel Balaji’s wife.

In the year 2017, she acted as Arun Chidambaram's mother and Illavarasu's wife in the movie ' Kanavu Variyam.' The film was directed by Arun Chidambaram and produced by Dr. A. Chidambaram and Karthik Chidambaram.

Her best role is for the movie ' Pasanga' (2009) in which she played the role of Pothumponnu Vellaichamy. This film was written and directed by Pandiraj and produced by M. Sasikumar,

The film won the best feature film in Tamil award at the 57th National Film Awards. Child actors Kishore and Sree Ram received awards for a best child actor and for Pandiraj for the best dialogue writer at the 57th National Film Awards.

In the movie ' Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae' 2017) Senthikumari played the role of Jiva's aunt. Produced by Atlee and for Star Studios jointly. In 'the movie ‘Osthe' (2011) she acted as Thambi Ramaiah's wife. In the year 2011-2013, she acted in a TV series 'Saravanan Meenatchi' where she played the role of actor Rio Raj's mother. The TV series was telecast on Star Vijay.

Khomala Lea

Khomala Lea is a Singaporean actress, producer and designer of Indian descent. Khomala had always been fond of dancing, and her dance group often performed at various events and shows through which she was introduced to several production teams. As a result, her interest in production amplified over time, and after pursuing her diploma, she started working as an assistant producer at Mediacorp Eaglevision, which produces Malayalam and Tamil programmes for channels in Singapore. While working there, she was introduced to acting. She played certain minor character roles in the company’s productions as well. In 2011, she co-produced the television series “Thee,” which aimed at tackling the social issue of domestic violence in Indian families in Singapore. Afterwards, she enrolled in the Oklahoma State University in the USA to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. Post-graduation she joined the Tantra Inc. Media Production Company as an event manager, eventually rising to the post of a sales and marketing manager. All the while she was also actively engaged in the company’s production line. In 2015, she made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the supporting role of Swetha in Srinath Ramalingam’s debut horror “Unakkenna Venum Sollu.” The movie, however, fell short of its expectations. She next appeared in Vasantham TV’s thriller soap opera “Yaar?” (2017), which revolved around the mystery behind the disappearance of top three finalists of a beauty pageant. The show received mixed reviews from the viewers. In 2017, Lea started working with the content business unit of StarHub, one of Singapore’s major three telecommunication companies. She had learned a lot about fashion designing from her decade’s experience in the media industry, and so in 2018, Srevanaya was born. Srevanaya is Lea’s clothing brand which provides customized ethnic wear for people of all ages, from babies to the elderly. She soon quit her job at StarHub to focus full-time on her fashion brand.
