Kanna Ravi is a Tamil actor, who had performed in more than 50 short films, web series and films. Right from his college days, Kanna developed his interest in the cinema. During his college days, when a film opportunity came by his way, Kanna rejected the role, as it was a friend role that appears in just for a couple of scenes. Kanna Ravi became popular for his web series, Livin. Besides acting, Kanna is a good singer too. On the silver screen, Kanna Ravi made his debut in “ Veera” with Krishna Kulasekaran. Livin opportunity knocked his door at that time. While shooting the Livin series, he fractured his leg. Although Kanna requested the director of the series, to replace him with some other star, Vyas, the maker of the web series insisted him to play, as he had a huge trust on Kanna. With the injured leg, Kanna completed the full 13 episodes of the web series, which was a runaway hit. Kanna Ravi had performed in the short films that took part in the Naalaya Iyakkunar Season 4 and Season 5. Vijay Sethupathi, “ Karunakaran” and Bobby Simha impressed Kanna Ravi, while they were working in short films. Kanna Ravi received the Best Actor award in Nalaya Iyakkunar Season 5 from Vishal Reddy in the presence of Vijay Sethupathi and Karthik Subbaraj, who entered cinema at that time.


Cheenu Mohan

Mohan is the stage play, TV cum cinema actor, who was born on 17th May 1956. Mohan, who played the role Cheenu in Crazy Mohan dramas had been called as Cheenu Mohan. He had been in the Crazy Creations since 1979. While playing in the Crazy Dramas, Mohan simultaneously worked in the films too. He shared the screen space with Karthik Muthuraman as his friend in Varusham Padhinaaru, the runaway hit film that also featured “Kushboo.” He had also played in Mani Ratnam directorial ventures “Thalapathy” with Superstar “Rajinikanth” and Anjali with “Raghuvaran,” and “Revathi.” Although he got good opportunities in the films, he had never denied doing the stage plays with Crazy troupe. His role Cheenu along with Maadhu Balaji made him popular among the Tamil speaking people all over the world. With his natural performance, Mohan impressed the audiences. As comedy comes naturally, he became the huge asset of Crazy Creations. After the team ventured into the TV Industry, Mohan’s role was very much bigger. Cheenu Mohan had played in the TV Series including Marmadesam – Ragasiyam, Marriage Made In Saloon, Madhil Mel Maadhu, Maadhu Plus Two and Return Of Crazy Thieves. He was seen in films including Kili Pechu Ketka Vaa, “Thalaivasal,” “Whistle,” “Jerry,” “Iraivi,” Aandavan Kattalai, “Sketch,” “Mersal,” Kolamavu Kokila, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and Vada Chennai. Cheenu Mohan took a break from the films. After a gap of ten years, he reentered the silver screen with Iraivi as Vijay Sethupathi’s uncle and he shared the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in three films. On 27th December 2018, Mohan died due to a massive cardiac arrest.
