Plot
Arun and Divya are in a relationship. Divya works in an IT firm. When Divya is at a team party, Arun calls her, and she lies to him that she is at a family event. Arun, who sees her picture tagged on a social media post, chilling with her friends, visits her directly and fights with her. Divya calls off their relationship. Later, Arun meets her at her apartment and apologizes. Arun’s father has an extra-marital affair. His mother asks Arun to get married soon and settle in life. In a situation, Arun’s mother attempts to commit suicide and he breaks down. Again, in a situation, Arun and Divya involved in a fight and decide to breakup. Again, on a trip, he tries to reconcile, but finds a truth. What was that? The rest of the film speaks about that.
Star Performance
Manikandan and Sri Gouri Priya delivered natural performances and their on-screen chemistry is astonishing. Saravanan, Geetha Kailasam, and the rest of the cast did justice to the given roles.
Analysis
The script is neat and the execution is wonderful. The characters are designed in such a way that they finally realize the value of themselves. Though a woman who adjusts her husband’s tortures just to shut the society’s badmouthing, she realizes that self-respect is a thing that’s beyond every other thing. Almost all the characters got perfect stars and everyone is impressive in their way. The climax may be bittersweet, but the truth it reveals is a must-know one for all.

Verdict
If Manikandan and Gouri’s portions show a different message, Saravanan and Geetha’s portions reveal a different one, and it is a good effort by Prabhuram and his team. Lover is watchable once!
