Kalavani Thirumurugan is a Tamil and Malayalam film industry supporting actor. He is well known for movies like Kalavani in 2010 and Eetti in 2016. He was born in Ambalpattu in Thanjavur, India. His mother’s name is Ramalakshmi and his father’s name is Sadasivam. His father was a retired teacher. Thirumurugan moved to Chennai in 2000 to pursue his dream of becoming a film director. He worked as an assistant of director A.L. Vijay. They worked together for some films and almost 50 commercials. In the film ‘Kalavani’ he co-directed with director Sargunam. But later he played a supporting role in the same film. He had also acted in movie ‘Aravaan’ in 2012. He played the lead role in the movie ‘Onam’ in 2017.
