One of the people from this youth regime is Rajesh Murugesan. He was born on 14th May 1988. The 27 years old boy is talented enough to mesmerize you. He is one of the youngest music composers we have in India. He is well versed in Indian classical music. He found a passion for music in his early days. He finds himself lucky that he could find his passion at such an early age. He mostly composes songs in Malayalam Film Industry.

He has worked in many regional movies as a music composer but predominantly seen working in the Malayalam Industry. His parents are Tamil, and they come from Thripunithura situated in Kerala. He says he is completely in love with his native place. He enjoys going there in his free time. According to him, it rejuvenates him to do more work. He did his schooling from Cochin Refineries School situated in Ambalamugal. He was a talented in his school. He gained appreciation from his school teachers and tutors during his school days. He participated in many competitions and stage shows during his school career. He indeed turned out to be a winner out here. The success he achieved in his earliest day thrust to him opting music as his career.

Rajesh impressed anyone who came across his path towards achieving excellence in music. He managed to gain appreciation from everyone. He is alumina from SAE International College situated in Chennai. He got his graduation degree in the year 2013. Before coming to movies, Rajesh made into some short movies. He turned out to be a great asset for these short movies. He gained a lot of experience in these ventures. This experience made me more confident and equipped with extra knowledge in his field. His short movies include Black and White in the year 2011; The Rat: A Sexy Tale in the year 2011; Reg: We in the year 2011; Kattan Kappi in the year 2011; and Wind again in the year 2011. After this, he moved to regional movies. He made his debut with a bilingual movie called Neram.

The movie was released in Tamil as well as Malayalam. The movie was directed by Alphonse Putharen and released in 2013. His work got the attention of every who’s who in the industry. The promo song quickly made to everyone’s mouth and became the new youth anthem. In 2015 he again shook hands with the same director for the movie Premam. The music of the movie got an overwhelming response from the audiences. We wish to see this young talent and his work more often. We wish him luck for future.

S. A. Rajkumar is an Indian music director. He belongs to Chennai in Tamil Nadu. He composes music for the South Indian film industry in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. He was born in 1964 to Selvarajan (father) and Kannammal (mother) in Chennai. His ancestors/ family descendants belong to Paettai, Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. His father Selvarajan was a vocalist. He performed in many stage shows organized by famous music directors of the film industry like Deva, A. R. Rahman, Gangai Amaran, Chandra Bose, and Ilayaraja, among others. Rajkumar was an admirer of his father’s musical work and with the passage of time he developed an interest in the art. It was Kannammal, his mother who spotted the buried musical abilities of Rajkumar. She noticed that Rajkumar while sitting idle used to get engrossed in singing. She asked her husband to make Rajkumar join music classes for further refinement as he also has developed an interest in the field. Subsequently, Rajkumar learned Carnatic music (music system related to the southern part of the Indian subcontinent) for three years. He undertook classes of this classical music under the guidance of S V Subbaiah Bhagavathar. Rajkumar also has a younger brother named Arul. After his three years of training, Rajkumar started performing in many musical shows on stage. Whilst his performance on television shows, he was looking for an opportunity to enter the film industry. He finally made his debut in the movies with ‘Chinna Poove Mella Pesu’ in 1987. He was signed by the duo Robert- Rajashekar for this picture. That was the starting point of his career in the field of cinema. He went on to direct the music for various Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema. He has also created Rock 2000, a musical album. In Tamil cinema, he has composed music for many movies. K. Rajagopal starred 'Ramki', 'Nirosha'. 'En Thangai' meaning ‘my sister’ by A. Jagannathan was a romantic film in which Rajkumar composed five songs. Once for the Telugu film 'Pelli' in 1997 and the second time for the Telugu movie 'Raja' in 1999. He was also honoured with Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director for his composition in the picture 'Suryavamsam' in the year 1997.
