Sam Vishal

Sam Vishal is an Indian vocalist and Tamil playback Singer. He was born on September 28, 1999, in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. His father is Mr. Xavier Sahayaraj, and his mother is Mrs. Sofia Xavier. He has a younger sister named Sifra Xavier. He belongs to non-musical family background, and has not learned music professionally. He finished his Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, at Loyola College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He began a band during his college days with his friends, and participated in various competitions. He made his first television appearance in 2019, when he got selected for Super Singer 7. He gave the selection credit to his friend Deepan who secretly sent his audio and video clips for the audition without his knowledge and only told him when he got selected. He was nominated as a danger zone contestant by the judges with the contestant Roshni, and he managed to get the higher number of votes in the history of the Super Singer. Finally, he got third place with Punya.

In 2020, he participated in the Super Singer Champion of Champions. He made his debut with Chitti Story, as a playback singer. It was released in December, 2020. He sang many independent songs in the Tamil language, namely Nee Indri Naatkalum in 2019, Minnal Polave, Kaaka Mutta Kannala, and Solla Maatten Po in 2020, Kaarkuzhal Kanmani, Neere Niranthara Urave, Seeni Sakkara Mittaye, Ava Cola, Vanji Aval Pearazhagi, Siragugal, Tholai Thooram, Kannamma Eannamma, Maravadhey, Anbe En Anbe, Yaarume Thevai Illa, Walkie Talkie, and En Swasame in 2021, Kalyanam Kacheri, Nam Desamey, Theera Kadhalae, Muthu Pechi, Thikki Thikki, Netrayinum Indrayinum, Crazy Hazy, Romantic Virumandi, Nanba Vaa, Telugu song Aaruyir Ayyappa, Kannada song Usiru Neene Ayyappa, and Malayalam song Karther Thaamae Nammai Thedi in 2022, Isaiyai Nee, and Oru Varthai Kettida in 2023.
