Anu rose to fame in the year 2012, when she appeared in the singing reality show Airtel Super Singer Junior Story Soon >> Read More... . After that, she released some albums and sang in Tamil movies. Anu took birth in Mannargudi, Thiruvarur, India on 31st March 2000. Her father is Anand, while her mother is Aasha. Anu is the youngest child in the family of two, her elder sister studies at Leo Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai.

Her career started at a young age of twelve. In 2012, she took part in the 3rd season of Airtel Super Singer Junior, a popular reality-based singing competition in South India. The show aired on Vijay TV. Anu won titles like ‘Most Expressive Singer’ during her time at Super Singer Junior and finished among the top 10 contestants’.
