born as Deepak Subrahmanyam Kappagantulu is a famous playback singer who sings songs in multiple languages such as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. He was born and in Chennai to a multicultural family and was brought up there. More than three hundred songs are credited to his name. He began his journey with participating in singing reality shows. His stage name is Deepak blue because of his fondness for the colour blue and that inspired him to change his name.
He is best known for the films Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 in 2021, Liger in 2022, Mersal in 2017, and Varisu in 2023. He also divulged plans for future endeavors, including the creation of an independent album featuring melodious tunes, expressing a desire to explore a variety of musical styles. Some of his other movies are Das Ka Dhamki in 2023, Vikrant Rona in 2022, Pailwaan in 2019, Mersal in 2017, Etharkkum Thunindhavan in 2022, and many others. Apart from that, he is also a lyricist and wrote the lycris for Vikrant Rona.
