RS. Ravipriyan is a famous music director and music composer who works primarily in the Kollywood music industry. He is a versatile artist with an experience of over two decades. He was born and brought up in Chennai, India. He completed his schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram and he earned his graduation from Sherwood Hall. He is best known for composing the music for the English film titled The Strip Mall. The film won the Honolulu Award. He made his debut with the album Kaatru.
He worked on that album in collaboration with twenty-two other renowned playback singers from the South Indian film industry. He has composed music for more than a dozen albums and four movies. His first Tamil film as a composer was Megam which was highly praised in Chennai and was played for over 100 days in cinemas in Chennai. Some of his other Tamil films are Vaandu Pasanga, Maayaan, Saanthan, and Idhu Kaalam.
