FS Faizal is an Indian music composer. A former commercial ad-jingles composer, Faizal made his debut with the Tamil film Newtonin Moondram Vidhi and then made an impact with his performance in Sillunu Oru Sandhippu (2012). Faizal made his first film commercial album, Newtonian Moondram Vidhi, with the stage name of Vinay, before moving on to produce music for Kalavaram in 2011.
Although the film released only three years later. During 2013, Faizal worked on Sillunu Oru Sandhipu, which became his third album to be released, and won positive reviews for his work on the songs. A critic from an online media website, however, criticized his work on the film's background score, saying it was "too loud" and the movie failed to perform well commercially.
