He is an India based music director and song composer. He works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Since childhood, he has this keen interest in music and musical instruments. He started learning classical violin when he was five years old. He started performing in musical concerts throughout the southern part of the country. He won several awards in competitions held at different musical academies. He went to Trinity College of Music, London to learn Western Classical Piano when he was ten years old. Along with this musical training, he continued his schooling from Shri Anand Jain Vidhyala, Tambaram and became a Chartered Accountant. He took a job in the Finance field but kept on trying for his dream job i.e. of becoming a music director. At that time, the director of critically acclaimed film ‘Onnayum Aattukkuttiyum’,

Mysskin was working on his next project. Arrol approached him to work on the background score of the movie. His name was a pretty common in Tamil Nadu. So, they changed his name from Arul to Arrol. His work in ‘Pisaasu’ was highly appreciated by both audiences and critics. Subsequently after this, he was offered another job for composing music in director Pandiraj’s next flick ‘Pasanga-2.’ This music album also became a success with positive responses from audiences. His upcoming movies in which he is giving music are ‘Savarakathi’ and ‘Thupparivaaian.’

While both movies are in pre-production state but they are likely to get released soon in 2016. He considers A.R. Rahman to be his idol and wishes to be like him. He believes in creating music from the bottom of his heart and doesn’t settle until he finds a suitable music tune for the corresponding movie genre.
