Sabesh Solomon had a passionate interest in Western hip-hop music, but his father being a "Gana" singer compelled him to compose "Gana" songs. " (North Chennai) lies in "Gana" and it is the most flexible genre of music that can easily get into the hearts of the people. He also adds that "Gana" is the voice of the downtrodden and outcasts. Through "Gana," he hopes to empower Chennai's outcast youth and lift them out of the shadows of society.

The obstacle to the development of Gana is the disbelief that, it is the music of the outcasts and not a part of universal music. "Gana" does not need any special training, unlike other genres of music. Sabesh Solomon composed more than four thousand "Gana" songs to which many outcast youths rendered their voices. He intensely trained many of the presently established "Gana" singers. His most famous song, "Adiye Podi Pacha Siriki," inspired and created a sensation in people, especially the youth.
