Mourhrna Anetha Reddy is a Malaysian model-cum-actress who is seen in Malaysian movies and even TV screen. But she made her Kollywood debut in the silver screen through a Tamil film ‘
Unakkenna Venum Sollu' (2015). But earlier, she even made an insignificant impact through a Malaysian Tamil production movie ‘
Yamuna’ that was released in 2013 and perhaps earlier to ‘Yamuna’, she featured in a small role in a movie 'Modhi Vilayadu' (2009). Hence, she made her actual screen presence felt in Kollywood is through a movie ‘Unakkenna Venum Sollu’ in 2015 only.
Other projects were too insignificant even for this model-turned-actress. Despite having won pageant title in Malaysia and having walked in ramp in Dubai too, the model was looking for a break in Kollywood.
As a model, she has many crowns on her head. She began her journey as a successful model and took participation in a number of pageant contests in Malaysia every year and was even nominated for being among top ten models. She was the winner of the beauty contest. Some of her accolades in the beauty contest in Malaysia include winner for the category of ‘Miss Malaysia India Global' (2007) and ‘Miss India Worldwide’ (2011). In the year 2010, she was the first runner-up for contest ‘Miss Malaysia Universe’.
Having won accolades and fame in the beauty contest, Mourhrna Anetha Reddy surprised everyone by appearing on a morning talk show on Malaysian TV network. She also appeared in television serial in Singapore TV channel titled ‘Uncle Taxi Asia Poguthu’. More than glamour, acting and, modeling, she is even interested in writing a script on Sri Lankan Tamil. She was devoted to much to the script, that she even showed the script to a production house in New York.
In year 2013, the actress went to New York Film Academy to learn acting and filmmaking on basis of encouragement provided to her by Malaysian government. It was then she came across the project on Sri Lankan Tamil issue. Later, she wanted to write an independent script for the movie that deals the issue in more depth. Many may wonder that this model is although a native of Malaysia but settled there as third generation Hyderabadi origin.
