After getting out of the show, Balaji had been staying in his house with his family. He is said to have suffered from a heart attack. So, he was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. He was paralyzed for nearly 15 days. After shifting him to two hospitals, his family admitted him to the Government Hospital in Chennai. Though he was given enough treatment, the doctors couldn’t save him. Vadivel Balaji breathed his last on 10^th September 2020. The 45-years-old actor is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
