Sunder Ramu is a film and stage actor, as well as a photographer. Sunder was born on 1st of January, 1986, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his secondary education at The Valley School, Bangalore. After that, he joined the National School of Drama in Delhi, but dropped out halfway, as he had a problem coping with Hindi. He joined the Visual Communications course offered by Loyola College in Chennai, where he shot a portfolio for model Sunita Punjabi, for the Femina Miss India competition.
He has worked for several brands as a fashion photographer. He featured in pantomimes for The Little Theatre, for over ten years, as a stage actor. He wrote three short films along with actor friend Dhanush, one of which was made into Mayakkam Enna. Sunder received critical acclaim for playing a key role in this film, especially since he was it was his debut film. He was also a part of the popular YouTube song, “Why This Kolaveri Di?”.
