Mirchi Senthil, born as Senthil Kumar on the 18th of October 1978, is a Tamil TV serial actor and a radio jockey. He is also a voice artist having dubbed for many artists. He started out doing his B.Com. from Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai and Masters of Finance and Control from Kamaraj University, and worked in the banking industry before he decided to switch careers and began radio jockeying at Radio Mirchi. He began his career as a radio jockey for Radio Mirchi, which gave the ‘Mirchi’ in his name.He became a sensation post his role as the protagonist in the blockbuster television Serial on Vijay TV - ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’. He has also starred in a micro-serial, ‘ 777’ directed by Manobala that aired on Polimer TV. His debut movie was ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhu’ and has gone on to act in films like ‘ Vennila Veedu’, ‘Kan Pesum Varthaigal’ and ‘Sengathu Bhoomiyilae’.

He fell in love with his co-star Sreeja Chandran, who played opposite him in Saravanan Meenatchi, and they got married on July 2, 2014, in a private function. He was nominated for the Filmfare award for the Best Supporting Actor for his role as Cheran’s elder brother in the movie ‘Thavamaai Thavamirundhu and has also won the Favourite Male Actor award for his role as Saravanan in Saravanan Meenatchi. He says that the Saravanan he plays in ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’ is related to his character so that he can act naturally.
Apart from being an RJ and an actor, he is also an excellent host on TV shows and also has been a presenter for many shows on Vijay TV. He has several movies on his plate right now up for release in a while notably Pappali and Vennila Veedu that are in production stages. He is quite popular on Radio Mirchi for his late night show ‘Neenga Naan Raaja Sir’ for playing maestro Ilayaraaja’s best hits.

Mirchi Senthil (born Senthil Kumar) is a Tamil RJ, cine actor, TV show host and serial artist. He rose to fame through his mesmerizing voice and a pleasant way of presenting his programs. He later joined the TV industry and got very famous that he ended up doing some movies as the lead character as well. He is among very few RJs who had successes in the screens.
Senthil is a Commerce graduate from Pachaiyappa’s College and has Masters in Finance and Control. He worked in a bank for a few years before things around him started to popularize.
Senthil joined Radio Mirchi FM in 2003 and has done many programs like ‘Mirchi Gold’, ‘Mirchi Bazaar’, ‘Pettai Rap’ and ‘Love Talkies’. His vivid manner of presenting his programs attracted callers all over Tamil Nadu. He later headed the Coimbatore division of Radio Mirchi as his progress was undeniably real.
Senthil got to act in the Vijay TV serial ‘ Madurai’ in 2003. He was called Saravanan in that series that captured people’s hearts all over. Vijay TV was all set to use his for their forthcoming serials. He had then cast as Saravanan again in Tamils’ all-time favorite ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’ alongside Sreeja, who acted with him in the previous series under the same name. This serial was the turning point of both’s lives since Tamil people loved watching their onscreen chemistry just like they do in cinemas.
Vijay TV, meanwhile, gave him chances to host programs as well. He hosted a weekly movie review show ‘Tamil Cinema Indha Vaaram’. He also starred in Manobala’s micro-serial ‘777’ and hosted a woman game show ‘Boxing’ in Polimer TV.
Senthil played Cheran’s brother in ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhu’ and was also nominated for a Filmfare award for best supporting actor for his performance. He bagged his first lead role in the Ilayaraja musical ‘Sengathu Boomiyile’ and subsequently continued to act ‘Kan Pesum Varthaigal’, ‘Pappali’ and ‘Vennila Veedu’ with lead actresses to his side.
Senthil won the Vijay TV award for his exquisite portrayal of Saravanan in ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’ in 2014. He is an ardent fan of Ilayaraja and hosts a show ‘Neenga Naan Raja Sir’ which is endorsed by the maestro himself. He married his co-star Sreeja, with whom he acted for more than five years in 2014 in a sudden ceremony.

Typist Gopu, born as Gopalarathinam in 1934, is a famous Tamil TV serial actor of Trichy native. He is widely known for his comic and second-fiddle roles and has acted in over 600 dramas and more than 400 films. He is an alumnus of Vivekananda College from where he finished his B.Com. At Vivekananda College, he was active in the dramatics club and got introduced to acting. He was a good friend of veteran actor Nagesh’s friend who introduced him to drama through his drama troupe in the year 1955. His nickname Typist Gopu is a tribute to his role of a typist in a 1959 play titled ‘Nenje Nee Vaazhga’.  He entered into the film industry in the year 1965. His first film was ‘Naanal’ which was directed by the legendary K. Balachander. His notable performances have come in movies of the 70’s and 80’s, namely ‘Adhey Kangal’ the thriller, ‘Oor Mariyadhai’ the drama among many others. He has played many a light-hearted role on the small screen especially in Veettukku Veedu Looty on Jaya TV in the early 2000’s. His last film was K. Bhagayaraj’s ‘Rudra’ after which he says he was not called to do roles in movies, yet he seems contented.  His versatility has even taken him to play a woman nurse in T.S. Seshadri’s play ‘Nenjukku Needhi’ and he also essayed the same role when the play was made into a Malayalam movie ‘Dhaagam’ that had Sathyan in the lead role. He was married to Rajalakshmi when he was 23. His love always lay in theater, and he says he will never stop acting and will do so until he can. He is currently doing plays with Y Gee Mahendra’s United Amateur Artistes for whom he has great respect. He is also living his childhood dream of traveling to the US, UK and flying around the world doing what he loves.

Bose Venkat Commonly Known as Venkat, is an Indian Tamil Film and Television Actor who often plays supporting roles. He was born on May 15, 1975 in Madras, Tamil Nadu. He is married to Malayalam film actress, Sonia on September 5, 2003. They have two sons named Rudraksh Venkat and Tejaswin Venkat and a daughter Bavatharani. When he was 17 years old, he came to Chennai and wished to be successful in films. But, he was unlucky at the start of his career, so he worked as auto rickshaw driver while doing some auditions.  He has been acting since 2001 after he got his big break in the popular Sun TV serial “Metti Oli”, where he played as Bose. Although he played a negative role alongside Suman, his performance was showered with praises from all over. He was also part of the 2005 Tamil film, “Kannamma” under the direction of S.s.Baba Vikram. He has also acted in a few Malayalam movies alongside Mammootty and Dilip.
