Sugumar Ganesan was born in 1981 in a place called Uvari, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. His parents Mr. Ganesan and Mrs. Maduram belong from a farming family. He has completed his schooling from Caldwell Century Memorial School, Idaiyangudi and then did his BA in Thiruchendur Aditinnar College. His BL graduation was completed from Thirunelvali Ambedkar Law College.
From childhood, he was interested in stage play, acting, writing, & directing stages plays. After that, he entered into the industry in the year 2008 and his started cinema journey as a lyricist. He also acted as a side artist in Kalingnar in "ULIYIN OSAI." In the year 2018, he wrote and directed a short film named "Kadaisi Echarikai (The Last Warning)".
