T. P. Gajendran

T. P. Gajendran is a famous Tamil actor and also a movie director. He played many minor roles in many films over the years. His mother is the famous Tamil actress T. P. Muthulakshmi. Earlier he worked as an assistant to the director Visu. 

M. K. Stalin and Gajendran used to study in the same college. Gajendran directed a series of small budget comedy-drama movies in the year 2000 starring Prabhu in mostly lead characters. He directed the movies Budget Padmanabhan in the year 2000, Middle Class Madhavan in the year 2001 and Banda Paramasivam in the year 2003. 

Gajendran’s filmography includes many films as a director like Veedu Manivi Makkal in the year 1988, and Nalla Kalam Porandachu in the year 1989. He worked in many films as actor and some of the roles include Gajendran in the movie Puthiya Sagaptham in the year 1985, the role of Fernandes in the movie Aval Sumangalithan in the year 1985, the role of Kuvalai in the movie Bharathi in the year 2000 (which brought him name and fame as an acto)r, the role of a doctor in the movie Majaa in the year 2005, the role of a priest in the movie Magane en Marumagane in the year 2010, and the recent role of a doctor in the movie Pattaya Kelappanum Pandiya in the year 2014. Of late, he played a small role in the movie Thunai Madhuivar, which was released in the year 2015.

Gajendran died on 5th February 2023 at the age of 68 in Chennai.
