Being a patriotic and dedicated patron, General Saravanan decides to handle this crisis by himself and warns the Chinese soldiers that there will be consequences for their actions. The General’s wife happens to be the only way these Chinese forces can threaten and extract information from him. The story revolves around how he resolves the crisis and teaches them a lesson. Moondram Ullaga Por received mixed reviews on the first week of release where critics applauded the protagonist Sunil Kumar’s performance as General Saravanan. Sugan Kartthi’s first attempt at writing and directing a film such as this was marked as over-ambitious by a few critics who believed that it had too much going on and the film’s budget did not do justice to its large-scale futuristic storyline.
