Perarasu

Perarasu is a famous Tamil director, who is known for his commercial movies. He also has the attributes of a singer, music director, actor and lyricist. He was born in Nattarasankottai, a village near Sivagangai in Tamil Nadu. He wanted to be a part of industry, but never got the opportunity; he then tried waiting outside the studios for hours. He once bribed a production in charge with ten rupees and was allowed to go inside the studio. He struggled for several years, but couldn’t make it big. He started assisting on sets and worked for around 15 to 16 years. While working, he got the tone of the industry and also learned what the audience expects and how to deliver. He made small cameos in movies, in some songs or some catchy dialogue. He made his directorial debut with Thirupachi in 2004 for which he received the Tamil Nadu Award for the Best Story Writer.

The film ran for 100 days in 112 screens and 200 days in other 25 Centre. The film was released on the day of Pongal and earned a huge response from everyone. He later did many films like Dharmapuri, Tirupathi, Thiruthani and latest being Thigar. His films, Thiruvannamalai and Thiruthani, did not make a big impact on box office. He amazed critics with his exceptional work and earned huge amount of respect. He also made films in which he directed, wrote and acted like Sivakasi and Pazhani. He is known for his multitalented performance in the industry and always has amazed everyone with his hunger to do something new. During the making of Sivakasi, some representatives from AVM production met Perarasu about making a commercial with Vijay and Perarasu accepted immediately.

They began to shoot it soon and acclaimed positive response from the audience. He made his directorial debut in Malayalam movie with the film Samrajyam ll: Son of Alexander in 2015. He is known for his extensive work in the industry and has earned huge amount of respect from everyone. He has been involved in the film industry for many years and shown everyone the power of grit and belief in himself. He gives a message that if someone has a passion during his lifetime, he should always follow it no matter what happens.
