Nithilan Saminathan

Nithilan Saminathan is a director cum screenwriter working in the Tamil film industry. He was born on 2^nd June 1982 in Vellore. Nithilan graduated with a degree in Visual Communication. Nithilan is married and has a kid. Inspired by his relatives, Nithilan decided to join the military, but he skipped that idea and joined the film industry, as he loved poetry and films. Nithilan was expecting an opportunity to join the film industry. As soon as he heard about Naalaya Iyakkunar, a show to encourage the directors and give them an opportunity to showcase their talents, he made a short film, Pudhir. He made seven more short films, and his short film, Punnagai Vaanginaal Kanneer Ilavasam, entered the final round of Naalaya Iyakkunar Season 3 and won him the title and prize.
