M. Nagarajan is a screenplay writer and a director from Madurai who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. The first film that he made is ‘Kaala Koothu’ in 2018 with Prasanna, Kalaiarasan, Sai Dhansika, and Srushti Dange in the lead roles.
Nagarajan was also the lyricist and playback singer for this movie. He was an engineering student from Madurai who was passionate about films and wanted to make a life out of them.
Nagarajan had taken up engineering as his family was not willing to support his passion for movies, but he got back to where his heart has always been; in the film industry. It was in his eleventh grade that he came to know how a film was made and realized that filmmaking was a work of creation and that this is something he wanted to do when he grew up. He says he is a big fan of directors
