Chaplin Balu is a Tollywood actor who debuted with the movie Manasthan in 2004. The movie was directed by Marumalarchi K. Bharathi and starred R. Sarathkumar and Sakshi Sivanand.

The movie received very average reviews from critics. In 2011 he cast in the movie Singa Raja. Then he was cast in the 2012 production Anbulla Durogi, which shows how relationships begin, change and end. This movie starred Varsha and Krish. In 2016, he has two movies set to release Saidhai Chella and Mannil Indha Kadhal.

Historical phenomena and mythological stories were the base for most of the plays done by him. He enacted in 31 plays that were showcased on stage for about 7950 times. He also came up with an idea of stereophonic sound system to make the experience of theatrical drama much bigger and better. His ideas took the whole theatre business to another level.
