The story is about a girl child Nila, who is left by her mother due to her illegal birth. She is brought up by her father’s younger sister. Her aunty Hema and uncle Shekar treat her as their own child and they did not reveal the birth details to her. Later, she comes to know about that and go out to search for her mother. Elango is the neighbour of Hema. Nithin, the son of Hema and Shekar is the close friend of Elango. Abi Dilip, who acted as Nithin’s friend Elango, did his part extraordinarily well. He was given a pivotal role in this serial to help Nila and her family. When Nithin leaves his home and stays in Kodaikanal, thinking that his parents could not afford for his medical expenses, Nila hunt for him in several places. At that time, Elango was the only source who supports Nila.
