People started calling him Sivan Srinivasan because of the character as Lord Shiva. 'Thiruvilayadal Puranam' is the first serial where he played the role of Shiva. Then he got many offers to play the role of Lord Shiva. He had a passion for acting since he was young and has performed over five thousand five hundred dramas. One of his unforgettable experiences happened when he was in eighth-standard. In the school drama, he played the role of a female character.
