Sasitharan Rajoo

Sasitharan K Rajoo is a highly hard-working film director/cameraman/scriptwriter/editor/actor working predominantly in the Tamil Industry. To educate himself, he went to Multimedia Production at Malaysia Institute of Integrative Media. Rajoo has a sister, whose name is Shammala B Sreetharan. He has a lot of work experience, like he worked as a former film director at Freelance Union, former editor at Vision Works Sdn. Bhd, as a film director/video editor/actor at Bikin Wayang and as a senior video producer/video editor at Malindo Air. Sasitharan has directed 3 movies titled Kasut Emas, Cinta Dalam Botol, and Gadis Tinju. He was the Director of Meredeka special drama series named Saga Padang Temu.

He has also directed a Chinese New Year drama titled Falling Into You in Mandarin. Apart from this, he has also co-directed, edited, and acted in Appalam, a Tamil film produced in Malaysia. In his entire career, Sasitharan has achieved a lot. For instance, he won the Malaysian PPFM Award for Best Film Editor 2008 (FINAS), BMW Shorties Special Mention Jury Award 2007 for directing, Achievement in Arts and Culture award by MIC Putrajaya, Best Foreign Tamil movie award for his movie Appalam, Best Telemovie Editor MIC Awards 2019 and many more.
