Anjana Haridas in a singer turned Malayalam film and television artist who hails from Payyannur, Kannur, Kerala. She is a VJ, an RJ, and a trained dancer. She has showcased her talents and tried her luck in all the fields. Anjana got famous through the musical program “
Hridayaragam
” telecasted in Asianet. She did her schooling in Holy angel’s convent and her graduation from All saints college in Thiruvananthapuram. She was a Radio jockey and a Video Jockey before entering into the acting field while she was studying in her 9th grade. Her dancing skills and her presentation skills as an anchor was the reason for her entry into the Malayalam film industry. She is married to Priyaraj who works as Station head for the popular radio channel “Club FM”, and now the actress is settled in Thrissur and active in Television serials. The couple is blessed with a son named “
Aarush
”.
Her first project which showed her acting skills was her role in the drama “Immini Ballya Onnu”, which is the story written by “Basheer”. Anjana entered into the industry through the tele-film "Sree Parvathiyude Paadam” which was telecasted in Doordharsan. She has also acted in popular serials "Kumkumapoovu", "Kathayariyathe”, telecasted in Asianet and Surya respectively.
Anjana’s real breakthrough was the role “Yamuna” in the TV serial “
Ival Yamuna
” which is still telecasted in Mazhavil Manorama channel.
Some of her movies are “Vedi Vazhipaadu” and “father’s day” which increased her fame and popularity. Many offers are coming on her way but she is now concentration on her Television serials.
