Krishnan Balakrishnan

Krishnan Balakrishnan is an actor who hails from the Malayalam movie industry. He has been in a number of movies and a serial since he has joined the Mollywood. He is known for turning his simple roles into memorable characters throughout his acting. Currently, he is in his forty’s. He grew up in the city of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

Krishnan started his career by acting in stage dramas. The Sopanam Institute of Performing Arts & Research was where he learned the art of drama in depth. His interest in acting has always been a part of him. Though he has never played a lead role, he always has been appreciated for his characterization.

He started his silver screen acting in the movie Kutty Srank: The Sailor of Hearts, a Malayalam movie released in the year 2009. In this movie, Krishnan played the character of Sandhyav. In the movie, he worked along side Mammootty, the famed Mollywood actor. His next project was a short film named Frog in the year 2012. In this series, he played the role of a watch guard Nakulan. The series was out in the year 2017 and won the Kerala State Television Awards of 2017 for Best Actor for the same series.
