V.P. Krishnakumar, also known as Vannadil Puthiyaveettil Krishnakumar, is a vVteran Sound Editor who has the credit of working for notable television and film projects in the Malayalam cinema. Born on September 8, 1958, Krishnakumar schooled in Payyanur, Kerala. He pursued his higher studies at Payyanur College. Later, he learned audio engineering from Chennai and landed a job at the Kerala State Film Development Corporation.
Krishnakumar is an expert in sync sound, known for recording live audio of many films. Initially, he worked under P. Devdas at Chitranjali Studio. He also worked for Kalabhavan Digital Studios in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
