Sruthy Sivadas

An extraordinary singer, Sruthy Sivadas works predominantly in the Malayalam Film industry. She marked the beginning of her music career in the Malayalam music reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, telecasted on the Zee Keralam channel. Despite being eliminated from the show, she feels overwhelmed by it and how it became an eye-opener for her, who once hated the concept of reality shows. An architect by profession, her soulful rendition of the evergreen Malayalam songs 'Kannil Nin Meyyil' and 'Avidunnen Gaanam Kelkkaan' earned her wider appreciation from the audience.

Sruthy learned Carnatic Music for almost 14 years and is now learning Hindustani Music for two years under music teacher Nikhita. She is proficient in singing Tamil and Telugu songs besides Malayalam. Being an ex-NRI, she manages to sing Arabic songs as well fluently. Her cover songs became popular on YouTube during Lockdown days. She said in an interview on the MediaOne Channel, "Social media has been a blessing for my music career." She received many music offers through her Instagram videos.

Her recent release is the song 'Thandalubaariye' from the movie 'Ayalvaashi' (2023). Her cover song versions of evergreen hit Malayalam melodies, released mostly through Instagram and YouTube, are also widely accepted by the audience.
