Kottakkal Madhu

Kottakkal Madhu is a playback singer and composer in the Malayalam Film industry. He was born on the 26th of October 1968. Kottakkal is from Kottakkal, Kerala, India. he is a Kathakali musician. K. Govindan Nair and K. Sathyabhama were the parents of Kottakkal. He used to learn Karnatic Music from Parameswara in his school days. Kottakkal also won a prize in the Mundaya Vebkitakrishna Bhagavathar Kathakali Music contest and his Music teacher gave him ‘Ponnada.’ In the 1980s Kottakkal started practicing Kathakali music. He had performed Kathakali in many parts of India and even in Switzerland along with P.S.V Natyasangham Kathakali Troup.

Kottakkal Madhu is married to Vrinda and has a daughter named Krishnendu. The same year, the movie “ Ayyappanum Koshiyum Click to look into! >> Read More... ” was released in which Kottakaal Madhu was the playback singer and also sang “Ariyathariyath” as the soundtrack of the movie. It was a Malayalam language film, written and directed by Sachy.
