Hibi Eden Malayalam Actor

Hibi Eden is a politician who was born on 19th April 1982. Hibi was born and brought up in Ernakulam, Kerala. His father, George Eden, was an MP from the Ernakulam constituency. George was one of the important politicians in the state and he had been one of the sincere members of the Indian National Congress. He had been elected from the Ernakulam constituency many times. George Eden died in 2003 at his office. Hibi already lost his mom when he was young. He has a younger sister and both of them were taken care of by their aunt. After he joined politics, the Indian National Congress gave him a good position in the party. Hibi was the President of The National Students’ Union of India. In 2011, Hibi contested in the state assembly elections in Kerala for Congress and was elected as an MLA from Ernakulam district. Hibi Eden won the elections by a huge vote difference of 32437. He is the youngest member of the legislative assembly in Kerala.

Besides this, Hibi was appointed as the General Secretary of a Union led by the Kerala Students Union at Sacred Heart College in Thevara. Later, he turned the State committee President of KSU and had been in the post till 2009. He had worked well for the party and the people and had grabbed the goodwill.

In 2016, he again contested in the legislative assembly elections and became an MLA two consecutive times from the Ernakulam constituency. This time, he won in a margin of 21949 votes. It was expected that he would be contesting in the state polls for the third time. But, he contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Ernakulam constituency. He won the election against the CPI-M contestant Rajeev by a vast margin of 1.6 lakh+ votes.

Hibi believes in spirituality and is a member of the Catholic Latin Rite Archdiocese of Verapoly, located in Ernakulam. Hibi and Anna Linda, a popular TV anchor, fell in love and after four years of love, they tied the knot on 30th January 2012. They have a daughter, Clara, born on 27th November 2012.
