A renowned supporting artist of Malayalam cinema, Thrissur Elsy has worked beamingly well in her life. She usually appeared in supporting roles and mostly did roles of being a mother. Before entering in the industry, she was a theater artist. It was because of Ramu Kariyat that she got a break in movies.

Thrissur Elsy married T.K. Madhu, who is no more now. They have a son named Pavan together.
Filmography
The most famous role that she portrayed being a mother was in the movie Harihar Nagar. She did a mother in various famous films like 9 KK Road in which she was Rosemary's mother, 2 Harihar Nagar in which Elsy played Mahadevan's mother, Aalibabayum Aarara Kallanmarum in which she was Chandi's mother, Safia's mother in Kadal, amongst many others.
