Rohini Mariam Idicula

Rohini Mariam Idicula is an Indian film anchor, actress and a model well known for working in Malayalam films. She was born in 1984, in Neerattupuram, Kerala, India. Her father’s name is Idicula Mathew, and her mother’s name is Beena Mathew. She is the youngest in the house. Her father used to work as a Chief Accountant for Lee Plastics in Nigeria, while her mother did house chores.

She was raised in Cochin and completed her schooling from there as well. After she completed her schooling, she started working as a model and participated in Navy Queen contest. She completed her education in Law at Government Law College, Ernakulam. She scored 10th state rank in its entrance exam. Later, she went to the UK to study Masters in Human Rights from University of Warwick, UK. While she was in her college, she continued working as a model for various magazines covers.

She started her career as a model. In 2002, she made to the final round of Navy Queen and stood 3rd in the same. Later in 2007, she was crowned as the Femina Miss Kerala 2007. She also won the title of Miss Perfect 10 for both beauty and pageants. After achieving such milestones, she gained a lot of popularity. It screened in various and renowned film festivals including the US, Canada, and Italy. It was also awarded awards of excellence at Canadian International Film Festival. It also won an award for Best debutant director at American Movie Awards in Nevada.
