Born on November 26, 1982 in Kerala, Samyukhta Varma is a renowned actress in the Malayalam industry. She entered the Malayalam industry with the film Veendum Chila Veetukaryangal. Satyan Anthikad is the director of the film.

Samyuktha worked in several Malayalam films and has even bagged few awards. After her marriage with co-star , she quit the film industry.

Samyuktha is blessed with good looks. She never dreamt of entering into the film industry as an actress.

Though Samyuktha Varma worked in the film industry for a short span of only three years, she earned quite a name for herself. But ironically commercial success seemed to be distant in the year 2000 since her movies during that year were not successful at the box office. But again, the year ended on a fruitful note with Thenkasipattinam becoming a box office success.

She played strong roles in some of her films. Her first film was lauded by the audience. She was paired opposite Jayaram in Nadanpennum Naattupramaaniyum; this movie was not a commercial success. Samyuktha was paired opposite Mohanlal in Fazil’s Life is Beautiful and it was an average hit. She excelled in her role in the film Angane Oru Avanikalatthu. The films Mazha, Madhuranombarakaattu and Swayamvarapanthal were milestones in the Samyuktha's career. In Mazha, Samyuktha gave a convincing performance of a girl facing two different worlds. In Madhuranombarakaattu she had a very sensitive character to perform. The film Thenkasipattinam which was also remade in Tamil, that gained her the recognition that she rightly deserves.

Samyuktha has few awards to her credit; she won the Kerala State Awards twice; won Asianet Filmfare Awards four times; Filmfare awards for Best Actress twice and various other awards.
