A confident girl, who knew ever since she performed in a college play that she wanted to be an actress- Parvathy was born in a Malayali family in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She is an Indian model and actor. She completed her secondary education in Abu Dhabi and resumed senior secondary education in Kerala, India. Parvathy graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Software Engineering and worked for a brief period before committing to the silver screen. Before taking onto acting as a full-time job, Parvathy ventured into modelling and bagged the titles of “Miss Karnataka” in 2009 and “Miss Navy Queen” in 2010.
She became the face of Mysore Sandal Soap and appeared in many commercials. Nair began her acting career with a debut in V.K. Prakash’s Poppins in 2012. Ever since then there has been no going back for this woman, who has moved from genre to genre like it was as easy as changing costumes, from horror to romance to comedy, you name it and she has tried her hands on it. She made her entry into the Kannada films in 2013 through
for which she won the Best Debut Actress in Kannada Film at the 3 rd South Indian International Movie Awards. To add to her hat, Nair has the feather of judging the first ever modelling based Malayalam reality show, on Amrita Televisions, called Super Models. Also, in the same year, she was among the “Most Desirable Women of 2013” according to Bangalore Times. She was also seen endorsing brands such as Malabar Gold, Reliance and Tata Diamonds, Anchor and Asian Paints. She had also commented on wanting to contest for the Miss India Beauty Pageant but could not apply due to the height eligibility criteria of the contest.
On various occasions, she has been called ruthless, awesome and impressive by the movie critics and viewers. It was only in 2014 that she made her debut in the Tamil and Telugu film industry in a bilingual film. After playing a couple of supporting roles, she moved to big budget movies and worked alongside directors and actors such as Samuthirakani,
, Nani, Kamal Hassan,
and Trisha. When asked about her experience while working with such established actors and directors, she said that it was like “going to an acting school”. The always humble and beautiful actress was recently seen in
